The No. 17 Minnesota Gophers football program squares off against the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers in a pivotal Big Ten matchup Saturday afternoon (Nov. 11) at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis. The Gophers (6-3, 3-3 Big Ten) upset then-No. 6 Michigan State last weekend 37-24 as nine-point underdogs and are now one win away from becoming bowl eligible.

Wisconsin (8-2, 5-2 Big Ten) has lost two of its last four games after starting the season undefeated but can still clinch the Big Ten West Division title with a victory over Minnesota and a loss by Nebraska to Ohio State on Saturday. The Badgers opened as 10-point favorites for Saturday's game but that number has shifted slightly to 9 1/2 points as of Wednesday morning (Nov. 8).

Minnesota is 2-5 all time against Wisconsin in Madison and is coming off a 38-17 home loss to the Badgers last season. The Gophers' only win in Madison since 1990 came in 2014 by a 31-30 score as three-point underdogs.

Wisconsin is 15-4 all time against Minnesota, winning the last six games in the series including a 14-7 victory last year in Minneapolis. The Badgers have outscored the Gophers 265-130 over that six-game span.

Saturday's game will be televised nationally on ABC at 3:30 p.m. Central Standard Time with Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy and Tom Rinaldi calling the action.
